Idioms – Money ★★

It’s that time of year again when Japanese line up in front of the Nenmatsu Jumbo lottery ticket sellers and buy dreams at ¥300 a pop. Personally, I’ve never been very excited about lottery tickets; I think its a thinly veiled regressive tax (逆進税-所得が少ない人ほど負担が多くなるように作用する租税を逆進税ということ). That said, I wouldn’t mind getting my hands on the prize money. Ooh the things I could do with ¥300,000,000!

Today, I’ll introduce some idioms dealing with MONEY!
