I’m burned out


A: It’s tough being out on sales in the summer. I’m burned out.
B: Shall we take a break in a coffee shop?


burned out は、ほとんどの場合、精神的に疲れ切った状態を表す。くだけた表現で、若い人たちの間でよく使われる。I’m totally burned out のように、totally(完全に)をつけると意味が強くなる。I’m burnt. も同じ意味。
